    Tommy Williams

Thought he was absolutely outstanding, done everything right today and didn't put a foot wrong all game.

It's a shame the rest of the team didn't have his desire to impress the new gaffer.

He was very good but had a shocker early on when his short pass let in cresswell. His crosses were awesome though, crying out for someone in the end of them

Wouldn't mind a perm deal for Williams
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

Thought he looked very threatening going forward in the first half.

Think Paul Hart will have been impressed and should start against Brizzle.

I think your wrong, cant remember him giving the ball way very often, he was feeding agyemang with some passes played to perfection.

Just logged in to basically make the exact same comment. He was our best player today, and put in the best performance at left back I've seen at LR in a few years (not saying much as it's been our weakest position for a long time, but definitely true). If he can keep that up he's all we need. Very strong going forward, was one of the few players who had any direct instinct today, picking the ball up on the edge of our box and running it into their half, with an end product. Add to that some key defending (both on the ground and in the air), and minimal errors, and he's excellent at this level.

Edit: Forgot to say, most importantly he worked his ****ing ass off, unlike anyone else except maybe Gorkss and Agyemang. Showed real desire - good on him.

Alright going forward - shame we never have anyone in the box to feed on his decent crosses.
