1. He has done it before and we beat Birmingham and Preston with him in charge.
2. He knows the players and the set up.
3. He has the respect of the players and possibly the backing.
4. Not likely to play any time soon so can concentrate on the job.
5. Knows how to motivate the team.
6. No one of any quality seems to want it.
7. We are only offering management contracts till the end of the season so would be an ideal solution and a good stop-gap.
