Others might not like that, but people just get fed up with the whole pantomime in the end.

"Maybe one day they'll get lucky, but for now... just let them get on with it, what can we do about it?" That sort of thing.
Agree. That's why I think someone like Guiltt or Maldini would be a good appointment. There is no guarantee they will succeed (same with Hart/Harford) but at least they would be an exciting appointment in the same way Sousa, being who he was in his playing career was.

The best we can hope for with Hart/Harford is that they bring in a fighting spirit. The football won't be good to watch but they'll grind out results like yesterday.

People aren't even bothering to moan in great numbers anymore. Can you imagine if these two had been placed in charge at the begining of "The 5 Year Project"?!

Now?? We've had all the high hopes kicked out of us, and just accept this cr*p with a shrug of the shoulders.
We've gone past the stage of scraping the barrel - we're digging around under it now.

Yeah great, they'll do, carry on, whatever, etc...
It does seem just like that.

From a Nottingham Forest Fan on Dot.org:

        LukeatForest:
"Paul Hart has proven time and again that he simply isn't good enough to manage - at any level. He's an outstanding youth coach, but nothing more. He's still quite popular at Forest because of the generation of youth players he helped to bring through and the style of football we played, but when it came to building his own team he was useless. Towards the end he began to display the traits that have dogged his managerial career since; stubbornness, an irritability when asked difficult questions, an annoying persistence with the same 'pretty football'... even when it is actually only played between the back four.
I remember the famous goal-less run, I might have seen every match in that run. We were absolutely terrible - if you can't score with Andy Reid on the pitch you're asking for trouble. I think his last game was one of the worst. It might have been Patrick Suffo who scored in the first five minutes, after that we never got near to scoring.

        Just not good enough."

And that was one of his better efforts at management.
To be assisted by the henchman sacked by Luton (this year) and Rotherham Utd.

This is being accepted as ok, could do worse, etc..??
        Christ.

I can't beleive they have been given to the end of the season. We should have gone out and done everything to get a decent manager.

No ambition, no intelligence and now no hope of going up.

          Very disapointing.

Complete farce and basically putting a nail in the coffin of any potential playoff hopes.!!!!!

I've just been on Wiki to find out how Mick Harford did when he was here last and his win percentage was 40.2, which was higher than most of them since, with the exception of Jim Magilton who had 47.3.

Incidentally our best manager in recent times, with percentages of 50.0 and 53.3 for his two spells in charge?

I've been on Wiki too, and was amazed to see that he was sacked by a Conference side, only this year.

That was after I'd read Paul Harts record as a manager.

Would FB recruit a milkman to drive one of his F1 cars, because he did well under tricky circumstances at Unigate Dairies?
Sorry I forgot, he's ballsed that side of things up as well.

                  Ah well....... *shrugs shoulders*

Luton were a point off the play off places in the conference when Harford got the boot - Hart is just a crap manager.

                        A poor appointment if true.

I think it would be fair to say that the season will offically be over when his appointment is confirmed (if true).
