Personally would love to see GG back but very much doubt it's even a consideration.

Why people are harping on about letting in more goals is pretty ridiculous unless you factor in that under him we scored significantly more also - sure we let in 2 but scored 3, would certainly rather that and go for wins then repeated 0-0 bores.

Besides the defensive players are better now also, and lets not forget he had to get the team to play together whn most of them were new to the club, the fact he managed it and at the same time produced some amazing football is a minor miracle. Imagine how good he could be with a settled squad who actually know each other, plus he could have been learning English for all we know since his time with us and it may be perfectly audible by now....

I think LDC is a bit of a Lee Cook type figure with our fans, if he comes back he won't do that well and it won't be long before everyone starts slating him!

It is rarely good to go back to old things I didn't see much during his reign to warrant such hype over getting him again! We were terribly unfit and poor defensively and there were constantly stories about how he couldn't speak a word of english and none of the players could understand him!

Yes we scored goals but Agyemang had his purple patch, and we had Rowlands, Buz and Vine all fit and playing well!

if de canio came in and done the same again with a bit more fitness and keep the defence the same as sousa had it would we be unstopable?

He would be my number 1 choice to return to the club.

Think he only has a short term contract with Lecce I'd be amazed if the club did not consider going again for the popular Italian.

De Canio would be a 'yes' man for Paladini and Flavio.
