For Fans Who Say Loans Are Not The Answer

We have Tarrabt, Simpson and Watson, surely they are good players at this level?

Take a look at Nottingham Forest, they loaned in Blackstock and Camp last season and they arguably kept them up and this season they have Gunter and Shorey on loan. Also, Watford have a number of players on loan of lesser ability than ours, but are 6th.

So why are loannees, such an issue??

      They aren't. The manager is.

Apologies about Gunter, good bit of business. I was thinking of Anderson, who I think they took on loan last season??

I would keep Simpson and Watson but send Tarabbt back to Spurs in January.

Loans are useful no doubt but they perhaps its not a good idea to use them as default instead of a proper strategy for developing the squad. loans have kept us up in the past and for emergency they are a great option but too many loans cant be the best for team spirit and squad morale
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

The league table doesn't lie we're not playing as a team it's as simple as that,we've got alot of big time charlies who think their better than what that are.

Taraabt is using us to showcase himself for a move in january not doubting his skill but just so selfish and couldn't give a flying to$$ about our club, watson must be in the worst form of his career, why get williams in on loan didn't need him should of gone for shorey at villa before forest got in a much better player and proven at tis level, simpson has done well and would like to see him play upfront with another striker routledge does not count.

Loans are useful. Paul Gallagher's goal kept Plymouth up last season as did DJ Campbell's for Blackpool.

Without loans most teams would suffer. However, there are loans who play for themselves and loans who play for the team. We have both and its those who are playing for themselves are letting the team down as a whole.

At least you get to try before you buy. That way we can use the money we would have spent on Watson to get a decent midfielder in.

They were only an issue during the loan window when because of the number we alreasdy had, we couldn't get anyone new in.
If we had been able to strengthen we might not have lost the last two games
God only knows how many more we will lose before the transfer window opens, then we will be able to get permanant signings in, so the loans will not be an issue.

But, as usual we will wait 'til the very last day of the window, losing more games in the meantime, and then miss out on our top targets, because after all this is Rangers.

But once the January window opens we will be a bottom half team. We were told the Board would spend if we were in the mix (play offs at least) but they won't waste their time if we are not. Now all we will hear is how players only want to join those teams at the top and looking like making it to the promised land.
I need a lie down now because things are starting to get me down. :(

                              Factamondo!

News out of hull the other week was if they want to get new players in in jan they have to ship out atleast 6 or 7 players....Do we really need more deadwood we cant shift if or when we get to the prem?.....

Loans allow us a "try before you buy"...or "try before you waste your money" option.

In simpson we have one of the best young forwards in the division, we wouldnt have him here if we werent a club that got in loans....
