I'm Liking This Idea from Middlesboro..What About Us?

If Boro win their first four Championship games after Christmas, the club is guaranteeing supporters who buy a half season card by December 21 their money back.

Supporters will receive a full refund if Boro beat S****horpe United at the Riverside on Boxing Day, win at Barnsley two days later, get all three points at home to Swansea on January 9 and beat Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on January 16.

The offer is likely to be a tempting one for many fans as new manager Gordon Strachan looks for a strong second half to the season.

They will be lucky to draw all 4 forget win all 4.

The club are taking their fans for a ride... something our club wouldn't dream off doing to us or would they?

That reward was for buying 2 seasons in one payment. The money then funded their promotion push.It was the only way they could then afford their wage bill.If Burnley had not gone up then they would probably be administartion this or next season. It was a massive gameble that paid off.

Why reward the people who jump on a bandwagon! how about rewarding the ones who renewed before the season started, the ones who stated their loyalty even though they had just been relegated. a publicity stunt nothing else

how are the club taking their fans for a ride???????

It is a bizarre offer and it is a gamble, but no one forcing the supporters to buy the ticket. It is also a possibility and therefore would be a great deal for supporters.

It is marketing and just trying to tempt people to take the plunge.

I think it is a good, but risky, idea.

That's a mickey mouse idea compared to ours, of charging the highest prices in the league every season, until we get promoted. And then double it and see who's still around. Last man standing taken to its natural conclusion.
