just reading in the sun,quates from Jay simpson.He says "there is a call back to Arsenal,if i am needed,at the moment they have a lot of injuries so i could be called back.im in touch with Arsenal all the time and they come to all my home games.This is a bit worrying and makes the january transfer window so important,we need to bring in 2 decent strikers,and after saturday if one of them is Leon Best,then i would be happy.

I like Simpson but when I saw Arsenal in the League Cup last year the memory I had was that whilst he was good and a real trier he lacked the class of Vela. The impresson I had was that Simpson would probably be good enough longer term for the Premiership but not top four team player. For that reason I think it unlikely Arsenal would recall him. They are more likely to buy someone in January. Hope that's right anyway!Comment

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

Absolutely no chance. They would sooner play Arshavin in a central role, they have Vela, Eduardo and Bendtner back in a couple of weeks.
