True, but if you can't get rid of the no marks, getting rid of someone who can make a difference instead isn't the way to go.

Being a Sporting Director isn't just all about taking the plaudits for the good signings, you have to do the hard yards to manage the duds off the books too. Helguson is wanted by Watford (they cream themselves over him) and Hall won't be short of an offer from the likes of Newcastle (ffs, they are prepared to chase Sol Campbell). They offer nothing to our club, so if the books need to be balanced, get them sold or loaned.

I would not loan out / get rid of Vine. We have persevered and nursed him back and i believe we will reap the rewards now. Quality player imo.

Rid ourselves of:

Agyemang (has done precious little this season and isn't as good as Vine - and is on a huge amount of money)

Pellicori (doesn't seem to figure on Magilton's radar)

Rose (done nothing)

I would put Balanta on this list but he's a) hardly had the chance and b) he's got potential.

Wouldn't put Hogan on the list because he really troubles defenders.

and if need be, get £10 million for the wunderkid.

I would get rid of Rose, Alberti (the nose), Pellicori and Helguson.
We have to keep Vine.
He is a quality player and against Palace he looked very good.
Also he has been very unlucky with having just 1 goal.
I would not be happy if we choose to get rid of Vine.
If some we're unhappy about Blackstock leaving then more should be pi ssed off if Vine goes. He and Buzz when fit are our best players ffs with Connolly also in that group of elite.

Surely to Helgusson to Watford is a no brainer (if they can afford his wages)
Agyemang to Southampton too (they have cash - be a case of whether the player fancies it imo)
Ainsworth was sitting in front of me in W12 (sorry!) at the Reading game, so he's around.
Rose could go on a loan to AFC Wimbledon.

Keep Vine and Pellicori - the latter for comedy value

Presumably this is because all had their contracts changed to bin regular bonuses in exchange for humungous payments in the event of promotion? This is the sort of problem you get when you issue long contracts and change the player remuneration policy half way through.

If it was up to me I'd ship out Helgusson, The italian tortoise, Alberti, and I really don't think Hogan and Balanta have a future in this team with this style of play.

Ageymang is worth keeping for nuiscence value in the last 20 minutes and the space he creates for the rest of the team.

Vine is definately worth keeping he has been steadily improving. I'd happily swap Hall for ****tu, but if Hall does go I want a pacy centre half in return.

As for Ainsworth these needs to be an individual decision for him as to whether he wants to continue playing, if he does then he has to move on

Can't see any reason why Hall couldn't be shipped; we have two LBs now, we'd still have three CBs without him, and assuming Legs plays RB, we still have Ramage who can play RB or CB. The bloke is on a packet, hardly ever plays, and never imposes himself on the opposition when he does play. He's a liability.

agree that hogan's never gonna make it with us but to say the same of balanta is nonsense imo.

He has started to do better, he is a quality squad player if nothing else!!..
