Seems composed on the pitch and i think he would thrive on the responsibility of being capatain.Just has the look of a leader of men.Comment

From what I've seen of Kaspars Gorkks off the pitch he is a very quiet and reserved guy, not the type of character I'd pick as a captain.
For me Watson would be the obvious choice if we are simply talking about atributes. That said, I'm not sure handing the armband to a player who may only be with us for another 6 weeks sends out the right message to the squad, and in particular Leigertwood.
I do think it is a real issue for us. We have an abundance of talent and flair players but the squad is definitely lacking in leaders, especially with Mahon and Rowlands out injured!Comment

After Connolly, he'd be my choice.
Just because a player is skilful, doesn't mean he's not passionate, or a winner.
Gorkks isn't a bad shout either.
Can't believe so many people are voting for Watson... he's a Wigan player, and anyway - I haven't seen any evidence that he's the Ginger Roy Keane.Comment

If he was good enough to get in the team I'd go gor Ramage as he is something of a motivator and gives 110% - sadly he isn't good enough.
It really is a big problem given that Connolly is very quiet.
Legs will probably keep the band but I would certainly consider Gorkks as an option.#standuptocancer

My preference is for Gorkss. If he was captain at Blackpool, it suggests he could fill the role at QPR. At 28 and an international for Latvia, he certainly has the experience needed.
Watson was captain at Palace, so if he is staying on, he is another serious option.
Leigertwood, has capatined QPR so would be my 3rd choice.
Not sure if Connolly has the leadership qualities that go with being a captain.Comment

Might as well give it to Connolly now as there doesn't seem be any other members of the squad with big enough ******** to take ownership of the captains armband.
Jim Magilton should organise a press conference and name Connolly captain now. Watson is the most suitable candidate not Gorkss or Buzsaky and defo not Legiertwood. However, make Connolly the main man now and be done with it....Comment

I dont think Legs is an influencial player, if he isn't playing we don't really miss him, when he is playing he doesnt drive the team on. If we bought Watson then I would go for him but for now I think it should be Gorkss.
Connolly is a future captain but I dont think he is ready for that yet.Comment
