all seriousness, borrowdale played **** to start - regardless of what pete says but has been steady as of late and barely made a foot wrong.

borrowdale even got a song! now i know we need competition but blimey if williams is the only choice we are doomed! williams is good going forward but his defensive game is as bad as borrowdales so i dont specifically see this as a step up from borrowdale just on par.

and to top it off we will now have 2 players who dont pass when other team-mates are in a better position.

just to add i wont shoot him down in flames i will support him!

its safe to say and im sure that theres no peterborough fans here! that apart from against us nobody has seen williams play since he was last here.

ill give williams a chance but i hope he is better than when we had him last!

Gary, I don't for a second feel you wouldn't support him. I'm just touching on the point about not passing. It was a mistake he made that I'm sure he regrets. Since then he's improved. I honestly feel he'll be very good for us.

Pete, don't show yourself up. You bang on about opinions then #### people for having a differing one to yours. It's my opinion and something I'm willing to lay money on. He's better than GB and will without doubt become our 1st choice if we don't get another in. The management have been looking for some time to strengthen this and clearly saw it as priority over the striker sittuation. We need to improve right accross the back but the fact that this one was addressed 1st speaks volumes.

Don't make out you're a football guru and that your word is the most important as you're wrong more often than not. You're a very good mate but completely up your own bum where football knowledge is concerned.

Williams is a much improved player since 02/03 and Benny boy is spot on, he will be a big sucess here and will fit on perfectly with our passing football.
