How can northern clubs be after him? I thought a player had to come within 50 miles of a club's training ground.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Sorry Sir Les, probably not the best wording on my part.

To clarify - Raheem Sterling would be on a YTS contract whether he stays at QPR or moves on, as such, between now and his 17th birthday he would NOT be on a big money deal. My worry is the potential of signing for an established Premiership club like Liverpool or Man U and the big money contract he would get on his 17th birthday may be very tempting for the lad!

why should he be fast tracked into the team. let him earn it like the all the young players in football. if man u or liverpool come in then so be it. we can't compete with them.

thats a suicide to let a 15 years old play against tough teams. he should be at least 17 and with a strong physical to be called. think if some rubish defender makes a tackle on him he will cut him on 2 halves. let the kid grows.

Yeah, but this 14 year old can't be any worse than Agymang, Pelicori and Helguson.

I was responding to rockandroll. Hence I quoted his message.

I have heard about him from some of the regulars who watch the youth team at weekends.
