I e-mailed Ian Taylor Pete who has read the request so I expect it has now gone higher up for discsussions.

If anyone has the ear of the club so to speak could they please gave a word to see if they can push this forward?

Hounslow Council are awarding the Fusillers the Freedom of the Borough on the 26th November and laying on a Civic recepition for them etc and it would be great if QPR could do something also.

I understand that the LSA have also been discussing this recently which I was unaware of so I am of course quite happy to let them progress this if they wish as I have intention of stepping on toes.

I have many dealings with these troops when wearing my other hat and was involved in the big send off we gave them in March so am happy to pass on any contacts I have at the Barracks.

Again if anyone has the time to e-mail or contact the club then please try and do so and lets make this a real cross messageboard campaign together.

The club have been in touch and are 100% up for doing something for possibly either the Coventry or Middlesborough matches.
