Cant speak for your area ,but we had Skrewdriver playing in my local ,The St Helier Arms on St Helier Estate , in Morden /Carshalton. With the Mitcham skins to the north and Morden and Sutton skins the area was a breeding ground for the NF in the 80s . Violent times .
To be honest thats why we stayed Mod going into Casual ,the right wing thing was real where i grew up, then the Bonehead s started coming on to the scooter scene and brought all their sh itty politics with them . I`m friends with many Skins ,some we choose not to talk politics ,( and they are more associates as opposed to friends ) others are more trad and appreciate the early Reggae /Soul and we crack on as real mates .
You cant be on the scooter scene and not come across all this.Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and TrainersComment

that was why we were cfoncerned he`d do a hatchet job on the scene ,but as i said ,he didnt .
Do you still come out to Skinhead dos 72 ? Like ,Up the Junction ,the old ,Set The Tone etc
And to be fair to Rastamouse ,the documentary wasnt about 79 skins ,it was what the scene is now . The Skinhead scene is far better now than what it was in the 80s ,no doubt .Last edited by vespa; 28-03-2018, 06:24 PM.Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and TrainersComment

I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment
