Was this official merchandise, if so, what was the connection to Scottish teams? Seems a bit random to me, you wouldn't get that these days! The QPR/Union Jack hat sounds tasty though. I'd really love to get hold of a QPR scarf with a Union Jack on it, not been able to find one.

I make you right on that, I didn't think the Club Shop would sell those split hats, I do remember getting it at the stadium, that must have been it!@gatorTFCComment

Had a QPR/Celtic one myself but remember seeing a QPR and Dundee United one be sold in about 85/86 as well. Them ski hats were great and think they only cost about £3.Comment

Spurs ,except for the obvious Celtic/Rangers wore Dundee Utd cos of Richard Gough . It was definitely a mid 80s thing , i wore one When we done Chelsea 6-0 and at the the 86 Cup final for sure . There was a huge Chelsea firm at Earls Court after the 6-0 ,i dont think theyd even attended the match , and loads of them were wearing Chelsea ski hats ,no Celtic ones funnily enough !Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and TrainersComment
