i was reading about him a couple of weeks ago whilst dreaming up potential signings for us. looks worth a punt and will be cheap, experienced striker in the spl and a goalscorer wherever hes had regular game time. would be delighted if we got him!

Saturday Freeman had his worst game for us. Washington, Cousins and Sylla were awful. Luongo anonymous first half but improved second half. But we played as a unit and deservedly won. Thats very encouraging. I think if we manage to scout a good striker we are not far from play-offs. Is Moult that don't know as haven't heard of him.

Agree with sentiment of this. Think we are playing better as a team than we have for years; add a striker who scores, and a few healthy defenders return, and we just may yet challenge for the playoffs this season.

Can he sign a pre-contract agreement as he plays for a club in a 'foreign' country?
Motherwell can accept a £200,000 offer or lose him for free in July.

Can't see this moult deal myself unless the club has wrote Wheeler off as a dud ! After all he's hardly a chance , or is he just not ready

                        Don't get this.

Wheeler is winger/midfielder, Moult is a centre forward. I don't understand why everyone on here keeps going on about Wheeler as a striker. Yeah, he's played there and is versatile, but he is a midfielder.

He can play c/f according to reports when we signed him and your post answers it's self
Come on Tarbie our best centre half is a left back by that logic

Because he scored 21 goals for Exeter last season playing as a winger in a narrow set up, similar to an inside-forward. IOW a v good strike rate even by an out and out striker's standards.

That's right Stan I and others was of the opinion the club signed him to play him as a striker seeing as we already had ample wingers , but this report that we are interested in Moult seems either tosh or Wheeler has not reached our expectations just me but we aren't in a position just to keep buying
