memories of 1982, cup final day

classic set piece goal by qpr..allan harris and el tel really worked on set pieces
stainrod long throw, headed "back" by hazell ( the flick on causing chaos in spuds defence) and fenwick running in at far post to head home and glory....

great team that, after we romped old div 2 , were 4th or 5th in div1 so went into uefa cup...great days

Being only 13 and not having parents that supported QPR, was at home for the replay:cry:

The first game was great atmsophere and that really late equaliser lives long in the memory

er, jim gregory sold 1000s of qpr tkts to spurs in a quick deal....hence mass brawls throughout and at end of game
bent ref, later banned from future games mr white if i recall

good qpr goal ruled offside cos stainrod was ko'd in box, away from goalmouth too
linesman waving for a qpr pen, for ages he kept it up and ref waved play on!!

memories...bitter cos we played so well

Getting on a tube with my cousin in our Rrrr's shirts and it was full of Spuds, Good banter though. And walking back to the bush from wembley with hundred's of other Rrr's and wiping tears away when we equalised
