Spot on! Whether we like it or not it's where we are now due to the wasteful profligacy of previous years on likes of Sandro etc. You can go a long way in this league with keen hungry players who want to play for each other so these sort of signings are definitely more exciting than expensive mercenaries looking to mug us off for a big pay day and then spending their time here swinging in their hammocks.

Wish the NI kid the best of luck but can't understand why only the 2 year deal if he's a prospect?

If he shows some potential, they will offer him a longer and better deal, If not then we save some money.

Bit of both for me. Sad because if we had been run in a smart way to begin with we wouldn't be in a position where we are happy that things are finally being run with the club's long term financial well being in mind. We might even still be in the Premier League.

Highlights how badly we have been run since August 2011 by Fernandes. We are where we are because he sanctioned all the gross mis spending through the first 2.5 years of his reign. I have questioned him constantly all along the way.

I always wonder where we'd be if there wasn't such a thing as FFP. Would we have still gone down this sensible route? Or would TF and co. still be 'making it rain'.

                            No doubt the latter.

Loved the attention and remember the Park Ji Sung press conference with his pearly white knashers all over the shop. Do not forget the blue and white hooped plane

I think that's why some supporters struggle to come to terms with and accept whatever our board do.
