So 10,000 people (which is an at best case scenario without anyone whinging on here about not renewing) at average £500 = £5m.

A guess of 75% will be by monthly payments....thus £1.25m in the bank to spend off the bat (and £400+ odd per month after that which covers running costs over the season).

Premier league starts 11/08/17, Window shuts on 31/08/17. Am pretty sure players who are surplus will be told before end of the window at least a week before is my guess. Would benefit the PL club to get the wages covered and players out playing for a start.

Only have to see Barrow going from Swansea this week to know that is likely to be the case that more PL players will be available soon.
