      we knew little about Goss other than the reports from (proper) United fans that clearly follow their Club through the levels. You can certainly see why they suggested he could be the next in the Carrick mold, with a similar frame and the same passing mentality. His first real game at first team level and he never tired of wanting the ball. Obviously has a lot to learn but hopefully he will develop into the kind of player his first impression suggests he could

        That looks to possibly this season as he said he was going to retire if not offered a contract, which is far too soon for Goss. He looks good but not winning Champions League in the next couple of seasons good.

          United will struggle without him. Most under rated player in the world.

            Goss played very deep at times - just hope he doesn't have Tom Carroll syndrome where a player suffers from an ability to be blown over by a change of wind direction.....very dangerous.
