I agree with your mates. It was a dire game but for long periods we were the better team. I could only see us winning it to be fair.
When Smith came on I thought we got better. Maybe the football wasn't better but we were showing more threat in front of goal.
Smith was winning everything in the air and I thought it only a matter of time for Washington to nick one off of his flicks.
Mannings corners never beat the first man. Which is criminal when you have a unit like Smith to hit.
I thought the defence was solid. Couldn't understand why Blackburn didn't put Feeney over onto their left for him to have a pop at Furlong who was looking a little out of hius depth.

Do you think it's 100 % in? I tested today and there needed to be surprisingly much space between the ball and goal line before it wholly passed the line.
