Does Goss have to be signed before midday today, to be eligible for the Burton game ?Leave a comment:

I think it comes down to the amount of the buy-back. Goss sounds talented but has had injury problems. If we sign him for £500k (and lets say this rises to £800k if we get promoted within 4 years, and he is part of our squad), but there is a buy-back clause of £2m which has to be activated within 2 years then the upside is quite limited, and the deal seems more like a loan signing rather than buying a player. Of course if the buy-back is at £20m then this is very differentLeave a comment:

Exactly.
Buy back clauses are the norm tbh - usually something along the lines of they have the option to buy him back within the next 2 years for, say, £5m, should they so wish.Leave a comment:

Dont let that bring youn down mate, if man u ever want to buy him back it means we would have had a worldy player on our hands. Pogba and Ronaldo are the class of player they want to buy back.Leave a comment:

The BBC are reporting that there might be a buy-back clause in the contract. I don't know how these work (is the amount decided ahead of time?) but this could seriously limit the amount of upside on the dealLeave a comment:

Will it be "Goss is no loss, says boss" or "Goss is like floss to this team he adds gloss"? We still don't know.Leave a comment:
