I don't remember that myself. In fact I remember a lot of disappointment when he opted to sign for Swansea instead of us.
I'm just going by the fact that he's not played as regularly this season for them, so a loan til the end of the season could benefit both him and us.

Nugent from Boro, seen us linked, younger than I thought he was at 31 and scores for fun in the Championship.
Wayne Routledge, not had that much game time this season at Swansea, maybe a long shot but would sort out some of our creativity problems for sure.

Even if they were only loans til the end of the season, I'd take that.

I'd look at will Buckley as a option for a winger as not getting time at shef wed presently!

However it's important to get players of the ilk of a Adam or migrant who know the league and can add some much needed quality!
We lack leaders, nous and no how and need some experience ASAP!

Good shouts both. Never understood why we didn't keep Routledge.

Was to do with flavio wanting to sell up so no cash available and routledge didn't want to be left hanging around waiting on a move that might or might not have happened.
