Not arguing - think the contract offered to Holloway is too long personally but I can see why the contract for JFH was so short given his lack of experience at this level.

Do you reckon we were lucky to get Ollie on a two and half year contract due to his experience or was he the lucky one?

JFH was the longevity appointment the owners banged on about for months - why give him a 12 month rolling? That's my point.

If they didn't play the longevity in a manager card previous to JFH's appointment so much, we wouldn't of thought anything of it.

He was lucky to get the contract he has done as he won't get that anywhere else.

He would still be here and his contract would have been renewed if the fans didn't go mental over how boring the football was IMO.

              I 100% agree.

His contract was a rolling contract, it doesn't get renewed as it never ends until one party decides they wish to cancel the agreement. It was obviously clear that the fans didn't like the football but no the fans did nothing towards his contract. The owners are simply as impatient as the fans if truth be told and spout we want longevity and will give time but they never do. This stretches back many years. Holloway was weirdly the only one given time.

When I say renewed then I mean continue forever.

Point is the same....TF reacted to twitter and forum hate and got rid. If he actually had balls, JFH would still be here and we would just be banging on about boring football.

The problem with JFH was he was inflexible and thought he was always right. I don't ever remember him saying he had made a mistake in his tactics.

Do you think TF consistently employs poor managers or due to his niceness , when they get in perhaps he gets take advantage of?

I would say that's a bit of an understatement nano.

He loves to be all buddy buddy, with hugs all round. I don't think a boss of any company should ever be like that. You always need to keep that professional distance.

The perfect example of this is to compare Mark Hughes relationship with Peter Coates vs Tony Fernandes. It sums up the problem IMO.

I think Hughes and Redknapp exploited him definitely.

Ramsey should only have been an interim appointment and JFH will probably prove to be a good manager elsewhere but he just wasn't right for the fans.

Six managers in five and a half years - we don't need to sack another one! The joke is that when Tony took the club over he said that he thought the main thing we needed was stability....you have to laugh!

The Olly contract was another mismanaged piece of negotiation.

I honestly wouldn't trust the board, Les and Hoos to manage the local filling station. Naive doesn't begin to cover it.

To all those throwing their toys out of the pram over Holloway's contract.

How much is he being paid?
