Marco silva as a wild card - now that would be an inspired choice IMOn

You honestly think Marco Silva would come to QPR after being a Champions League level manager?

Deluded mate. Some need to adjust their mentality on where QPR are right now, and who we are.

We are a mid to lower championship club with a 18k ground. Agree we need to get in the real world and it begs the question why a d.o.f when we are a club like that.

Spot on. Some of the expectations on here are absolutely certifiable.

Holloway has promoted 2 clubs out of this division yet he is a bargain basement appointment.

True. Bircham and Cookie are the two real blue and white blood crew.

Don't think the problem just with the manager , I'd like to know if this is T.Fs appointment or has he been swayed by the DOF again? because if anyone should've lost his job he should

Because we're trying to grow and get a process in place that gives us every opportunity to grow and do things the right way.

It's getting in good habits and changing the system early on, for the future - to give us every success in the future.

Some managers suggested are just so un-realistic for us in the present tense - Nothing to do with the DOF, it's just where we are at currently.

Irrelevant. Brentford have a 13,000 capacity and 2 DoF's. Seem to be doing fine from what I can see.

Their fans probably have realistic expectations though.

Like yours? Think about it. You've pissed not just a few million away, but >0.25bn. As any economist will tell you, a totally reactionary fiscal policy nearly always leads to a further downward spiral. A top manager's salary on the other hand would represent a reasonable chance of medium term development for club revenue, and would be a much more realistic investment right now than anything to do with facilities or PR teams. You have to put the horse before the cart.

During Fernandes' time a vast array of managerial talent has been on the market when we've needed it, including when we were in the EPL.
That remains the case right now. The truth is no one of any stature will work at such a small club without a clean start, and that means Les being shifted to one side. Olly will work under Les, he'll work for relatively little and he ticks the sentiment box. The board appear to have bought that line, but it does not mean it was the only option open to them.

Anyone would come here given the right terms and conditions. That is how business works.

Brentford are also very well run.

You are correct but size of ground is no longer so important as the TV revenues. Look at Bournemouth.

Very true Croydon but again Bournemouth are a fantastically run football club.
