As Villa fans have been pointing out, there was a completely toxic environment there at the time, a club divided at all levels.

Not many managers would have succeeded there that's for sure. Did a decent job keeping them up then the rot really set in and was on a loser from then on.

I wouldnt be opposed to sherwood personally, hes a half decent manager. Only thing that turns me off him is his circlejerk relationship with les/ramsay and that he doesnt seem loyal one tiny bit, plus hes a bit of an ####. would rather have clement due to his experience at the highest level, relationship with the club and the fact that he didnt do terrible at derby helps too. Itd just feel right if clement was our manager

I think the fans would give clement a lot of support and backing too, itd be great way to build a close relationship between management and the fans

Tony has spent enough money and his main aim is premiership thats abundantly clear, so get in someone who has a proven track record of doing just that regularly.

Just get Rowett. He’s taken Birmingham as far as he can and last season couldn’t have made it much more obvious he wanted us or Fulham to come in for him.

Rowett has only ever succeeded. Clement failed at Derby and Sherwood failed at Villa

Exactly kev. Weve got the players, just need a manager who knows what hes doing and has the tactical nouse to get a job done.....get the formation/substitutions right and we'll start moving up that table, absolutely no reason why not with this squad........ its a smply game, SO KEEP IT SIMPLE!!!
