Yes people will point to Barnsley and teams like that, but they have had a few years doing what we are currently doing in order to get to the stage they are now.
Christ you have no ambition. What must you be like in your private life? If you shoot for the moon, you might end up on the roof.

so each season we arnt in the top 2, sack the manager? how long do they get, as clearly 7 games into a season is far too long

This is about attitude and application and actually having the guts to attack teams especially at home. The reason we are so poor going forward is because of the way we are set up by the management and the coaching staff. Most of our lot are more than capable of being competitive at this level I don't buy all this league one ########. Loads of brilliant players have come out of league one. Granted we've got a couple that I don't think are good enough but saying we're a league one setup is in my opinion a cop out. This problem firmly lays at jimmys door and no body else's. The players clearly don't want to play for him. Must be very tiring when you've got a manager who plays such boring reserved football and hasn't got the balls to go for a win. He's the very definition of mediocrity. The only thing we are missing playing staff wise is a leader. A proper manager would sort this side out in absolutely certain of it

You are obviously hard of thinking. And unable to read. My opinion of Jimmy is based on his record since the day he was appointed.

not really, im going on what you are saying. we should "shoot for the moon" and should be aiming for automatic promotion spot? I'l leave the argument there, as although i might be pi$$ing a few off on here lately, surely anyone with any ounce of common sense will say that is a ludicrous statement.

About the 10th personal insult youve thrown. If you cant debate, you'll have to go back to the kiddies table im afraid.

Here's an interesting look at our preferred 11 for you:

                  Smithies - Established championship
Perch - Past Prem/Established Championship (Player of the year for a championship club)
                  Onuoha - Established Prem/Established Championship
Caulker - Regular Prem Player/Established Champ player
Bidwell - Ex League 1/Now 3 seasons into the Championship
Luongo - Established League 1/Championship regular and championship Quality with potential
Henry - Established Championship Player/Prem Exp
                  Yeni - Top Ligue 2 (League 1 quality) Player/Ligue 1 Experience
Chery - Top Eredivisie Player (Champ Standard)
Wszolek - Established Serie A Player (Prem/top champ Standard)
Polter - Established Bundes 2 and regular Bundes 1 Player with Champ Experience

Even our Bench has Cousins who is champ standard with champ experience, Hall who is champ standard with Champ experience, etc.

We've got players with the right pedigree, we need them working together. it's that simple. They'll learn, they'll take time.

You attract insults, I'm afraid. You misrepresent people and wind them up. I can't apologize for wanting and hoping for better than we have. When I know something's not possible I like to see changes to try to improve things. Even under Jimmy we were in the promotion mix. It's perfectly reasonable to try to push on from there. I'm assuming you are familiar with the meaning of try. It means failure is still possible, but perhaps not probable.

I'll give you an answer, I doubt RIG will want to answer you with the way you come across with your questioning. They were 11th in league 1, having won 3, drawn 1 and lost 3 of their opening 7, including a poor home defeat to shrewsbury who hadn't won yet that season.

He's here to ask pointless questions where he hopes he gets one answer to prove whatever point he's got, but he actually gets an answer that goes against his theory. I only assume he'll soon say that their position was irrelevant, once he realises that they got promoted last season having been in the exact same situation we're in right now.

You really have a problem son Barnsley were bottom of League 1 and as you say got promoted via the playoffs how do you think
they achieved this by playing attacking footbal and taking risks something our current manager does not have a clue about.Added to that
they are doing quite well in the Championship although a poster on here does not think it will last. This is what can be achieved by aiming high
and not just settling for second best
