The problem is his contract (which nobody totally understands). If as some think his contract is automatically renewed if no decision is made by the beginning of December, then the club needs to make a decision by then.
I am assuming that Hoos et. al are looking at prospective candidates as they can't leave everything until the last minute.
I'm not sure Tony is having much input of this. He didn't seem to be involved in the discussions regarding the investigation.Comment

Oooo....dangerous assumption you are making there...WE ARE QPR after all.The problem is his contract (which nobody totally understands). If as some think his contract is automatically renewed if no decision is made by the beginning of December, then the club needs to make a decision by then.

So all he needs to achieve this season is staying up and that "achievement "deserves a new contract, hardly building on last year or goin in the right direction is it?,I don't think we will be relegated under Jimmy so ifs all we want then give him another year by all meansComment

Good point. Though the way Les and Hoos talk about it, seems a pretty reasonable structure.Comment

Considering this is something that only HR and JFH achieved (And JFH's was slightly more impressive given that it was away) since 1983, I'd say that this should be something celebrated. Instead we have people saying we got lucky, JFH should still be gone now irrespective, blah blah blah. Just enjoy what is one of the biggest results we could have had, especially considering so many were talking about losing 6+ nil like we did back when NW was in charge. Cast your eye back to our last game with Fulham where we lost 3-1 at home and compare it to now. People talk about a lack of progress on the pitch, watch both matches and decide."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

It's extremely reasonable. But it's not old school enough for some. The structure is simple, ask for what you want, give a suggestion if you have someone in mind, get back a list of 5 players, decide, leave it to the backroom to get the player while you focus on actually coaching."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

I think he needs to achieve a finish higher than last season. That coupled with the change of attitude and way the club is handling itself in the transfer market would be progression that may warrant a new contract IMO.So all he needs to achieve this season is staying up and that "achievement "deserves a new contract, hardly building on last year or goin in the right direction is it?,I don't think we will be relegated under Jimmy so ifs all we want then give him another year by all means
Style of play will get there...evidence of that at times on Saturday.Comment

Nasser, how about we agree to not go overboard when we win and also do the same when we lose? Let's look at next 5 performances and results and take a view then? I'm not prepared to say all is good after Saturday. Cracking 3 points but bigger picture is still uncertain to me.
