    Wigan want Perch Back

Talks have begun regarding a potential return to Wigan Athletic for Queens Park Rangers defender James Perch (above, left), the Sun reports (Monday edition, page 49).

Perch spent two years at the DW Stadium but left for Loftus Road last summer upon Wigan's relegation to League One.

However, now back in the second tier, Latics boss Gary Caldwell (below) is said to have targeted a reunion with his former teammate and captain.

he is so versatile, id imagine we'd have to sign at least 2 if not 3 players to replace him. With that in mind, we probably arnt going to get a high enough fee to warrant selling him.

Not sure why we would sell him. Not on high wages and wouldn't get a high transfer fee.

          This. No need to sell.

No chance. Keep him all day long. As said above he is so versatile and always gives his all and looks like he is enjoying it here. If we get injuries to either full back side he is going to be needed and will slot in straight away. Also if we sell him and Ned gets injured then we have no right back with Furlong out on loan.

Just because he's on the bench doesnt mean he's not in his plans. Squad game / competition required.

Could it be that we are planning to buy a specialist RB? I don`t know, I´m only asking....

If this is true then we must have another right back in our sights. That said, I'd rather not lose Perch. His versatility is very useful!

would rather spend the cash on another winger.

                        - Nedum would have to got CB meaning dropping Caulker or Hall which would be madness and then also mean Lynch is really going to struggle.
                        - Perch and Nedum are better than most RBs in our league tbh.

We'd be crazy to see him. He's the only specialist RB at the club ffs!

No way should he be sold, good player who can play left back, right back and centre. Plus we would then have to try to replace. Only reason would be if Perch wants to leave otherwise we shouldnt even discuss.
