The pe teacher doing what he does best.

            Loads of clubs wanted him.

            Lucky to have him.

Drossball philosophy running throughout the club.

All about the long term. We're just giving these young lads good grounding for getting tonked in the senior team

Funny thing is that pressure will start to build on various personnel if after 12 games or so we're obviously struggling. I know people say they don't care about the kids but this kind of result doesn't help confidence. Shankly was a pretty decent manager, very close to GOAT status for some observers, and he was almost as obsessive about LFC's junior sides as the 1st team. He saw failure at any level as a personal defeat. Great man.

the problem is these tonkings are becoming the norm. Maybe this is the reason Fulham and Brentford seem to have a steady stream of youngsters progressing to the 1st team, while our last one of note was Richard Langley

Don't think anyone can argue with that, well non gingers anyway
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

You're right there is an air defeat hanging about the club Lymie but to be fair Fulham ,Brentford and even Charlton are years in front of us regarding youth development never had the money from time we dropped out of the prem after Francis left also never had the desire during the 4 year plan and leaves us with a lot of catching up

That's exactly why they sacked Steve Gallen and half the fan base went crazy cos he's one of us.
