    Jack Robinson

May have missed something but any updates on their injuries. So quiet re Robinson, it's like the club are trying to hide something?!

It's too quiet. Made a fuss of him coming in early for training (Robinson) then disappears off the face of the planet

The bidwell signing tells me enough that we aren't confident in Robinson being fit.

If the lad was able to stay fit he's first choice!!

          My thoughts too.

Reading between the lines on Robinson, plays one game last season and looks like a quality player, then he's never seen or heard of again. Then we sign what appears to be a new, first choice left back in the transfer window. My money is on his knee still not being right after the injury he picked up on loan at Huddersfield. To be fair, he was out for a year so it must have been a bad one. Let's hope for his sake that there is something more that can be done to prolong his career at this level.

As for Mackie, he's finished at this level isn't he? Not the player he once was and troubled by a few niggly injuries. I understand why we brought him back but you have to say now, with hindsight that it was a bit pointless.

the broken leg Robinson had was a severe injury, years ago would've probably ended most players careers, maybe not came back as player we thought he would be?
as for Mackie not really bothered Headless chicken dont think he''l improve the team?

Thing is though, that game he played, he was flying around the pitch and certainly not afraid to get stuck in. Obviously something aint right, but no harm in having 2 decent LB at the club as opposed to recent years, having 4 of which none are up to the standard.

Good to have around and can be an impact sub, even if it is to just lift everyone with his running.

Tell a lie, actually a knee cartilage injury. Details below, sounds like a really odd one!

just stick a jude suit on him and call him our mascot, better than paying 10k per week just to have him give out the drinks at half time.

There was a Robinson statement this week . Hes doing okay apparently, its going to take time though

The former Liverpool man, who was on loan at Huddersfield in the 2014/15 season, suffered the injury with the Terriers and only made his debut against Charlton late last season

Makes sense. Last thing we want is to rush the kid back and risk causing further, more irreparable, damage.
