He owed us nothing, he scored goals when we asked him to, he got us loan money when we needed him to, he even played the opener that season with Charlie when we wanted him to. When he got the opportunity to go to a top team, he chose to do what he wanted to for once.

no1 is saying be his fan. Think most Rangers fan dont really have an opinion on him anymore. Just another player to pass through the club.

Certainly cant blame the bloke for the timing of his departure being so close to the end of the window. If it was "too late" for him to go, the club should have stopped it.

Deschamps told him he'd get a chance to play for France in the Euros if he was at a bigger club.

Sat on the bench at a bigger club when he could have started every game for us in the PL that season and had a partnership with Austin who got in the England squad.

Plus frequently injured. Almost too perfect for them. Remembering him, makes me think of that awesome goal he scored , from outside of area .
