There isn't anyone else better to do it at the moment. Maybe next season when new players or possibly Bidwell has settled in and got to know the other players games he could take over but for now Ned is the logical one to keep it.

Not vocal or organised enough to be captain in my opinion but as the poster above has said there's no one better.......yet

Yeah sadly yet there isnt anyone better, but with the new guys settling in we will hopefully have leaders all over the pitch.

Not good enough to start going on last seasons performance. Hall was player on the season but won't say boo to a goose so you can't play silent hot potato ned. I was hoping lynch could be a leader of men
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Maybe he's being kept as Club Captain, but the Team Captain may drift towards Lynch or Bidwell if they play more often than Ned ?

If ned starts then he's our rb as 100% sure hall and lynch are nailed on for CB positions!

Yep. Those that say he doesn't talk on the pitch are spouting poo, Ned is very vocal and I've no issues with him being captain.

Exactly Matty said this last Season if people actually watch him instead of jumping on the bandwagon and believing the shite others post you will see he does talk on pitch and is always in refs ear

I actually think captains roll is redundant in modern day football so if your one of those that get upset by it you need to get a life

Bang on west, I think I've posted before about how the captain in football means naff all anyway. Not like in rugby where it is a big thing, it's just an armband for me. Leaders on the pitch will be leaders regardless of whether they've got an armband on or not.

Perch is a specialist RB. No way can Ned start ahead of him either.

How the players perform will dictate results not something as trivial as who is the captain.

Ned is our best captain now, he's done a great job of it in the last year. He was vocal as much as people don't want to believe it, he's a good influence on those around him, he's liked in the dressing room. What more can you want?

One of the highest earners now at our club. And to be fair he don't warrant it. Very average cb. Plenty of better centre halfs in this division . Should be looking to move him on really. Liability and never a captain. Hopefully hall and lynch will make him a bit part player this year.
