I don't post often but we seem to slate anyone who doesn't cost a fortune. If Charlie Austin was being signed based on his appearances and Goals for Southamton, we would be up in arms and we all know what a lower league Gem he was, but hasn't exactly set the world alight since his move.

Because he was injured most of the second half of the season. Watch, this season if he gets regular games he will score 15+ goals for them.

Soton fans are not sold on Austin yet, they seem to prefer Long to start in the lone striker role.

Thats probably because Long has better all rouund movement as a lone striker although I think Austin is the better goalscorer.

This Oduwa is the lad who tried that Rainbow Flick trick whilst on loan at Rangers a year or so back and got panned by the press and fans for showboating. From what I've seen he looks like he has bags of talent but needs to rein it in a bit.

Perhaps a rough diamond that Les and Jimmy think they can make into a decent player. Doubt he's an answer to our immediate problems though!

Yeah I read a report where he got slagged off for showboating against a lesser side while he was up in jockland ! But what should he do just play a lot of dross cos the others were dross , get in there L F looks like our type of player

He was playing well for Rangers but then got injured I believe.

Very hard to judge if he could step up to championship football though as playing Div 1 Scottish football surely is similar to our league 2 if not a little lower!

He's the type of deal you would take a punt on like we did with Grant Hall. It could go either way. As long as it's not stupid money then could be worth taking a look.
