We got no chance then , could get lucky like Leicester finding mahrez but unlikely with our set up . Youngsters getting whipped week in week out . Good result v Watford but will be watching through me hands come Leeds .

I would say in general that is English players in regards to France. Spurs wouldnt have won the league as long as leicester kept winning which they did. I think it was the whole team that lost their head against Chelsea.

I don't post often but we seem to slate anyone who doesn't cost a fortune. If Charlie Austin was being signed based on his appearances and Goals for Southamton, we would be up in arms and we all know what a lower league Gem he was, but hasn't exactly set the world alight since his move.

It's bizarre isn't it. The QPR I was bought u watching used to pick up rough diamonds, polish them up and then sell them on for a profit. We were a likeable club who had a fantastic reputation in the game. Some , myself included have been crying out for a return to this way of operating. Pretty sure people were moaning about grant hall signing last year and look at how that one panned out. I trust the professional people who work for the club to make the correct decisions, they haven't done too bad so far over all. Like you say though if he doesn't cost millions he must be ####

I generally assume Les and JFH know more about players than I do but I guess this forum would be a quiet place if everyone thought like me.

Chris Ramsay is going to know the potential of all of these Spurs youth players. He'll have worked with them for years and know them inside out - any acquisition from the Spurs youth set up is likely to be low risk, plus they'll end up working at LR with the guy who saw their potential and brought them on in the first place.

You seen Southampton's pre-season? Austin is going to be huge for them this season.
