Young hungry British players we called for well he's young, talented, British and is clearly hungry as he left the comfort of the UK to rebuild his career what's more hungry then that??? How many British players go abroad especially at his age when there are fortunes to be made here in lower leagues

Don't bother mate. Just don't bother

against quality opposition, that's how you measure ability. No disrespect to JB but the space and time was handed to him.

Time will tell. Bit concerned about all these Ex or Current spurs players we linked with. Not being negative. Just thinking they all won't turn out like Grant Hall.

Buzzing for these type of signings personally.

A player who is talented and wants to prove himself. As others have said it takes a lot of character to move abroad and rebuild your career.
Plus this isn't going to break the bank. Good business imo.

I know all these terrible spurs kids who have come through the system which saw them challenge for the title with squad made up in parts from their own development

It was JFH who brought him over to Belgium in the first place, so he obviously rates him.

                      And Dean Parrett...

Saying that I think it's quite a clever signing if true

Dean would come back at a heart beat.
Lots of talk about him wanting to go being a spurs fan and all that.
Club were desperate for cash , wasn't ready to go

Intriguing potential signing imho. Seems JFH is going for young, talented players who haven't quite made the grade at clubs like Spurs (who have one of the best youth teams in the country, rivalled only by Southampton). A lot of these players don't come off and are playing non-league a couple of years on; but they could also be the bright young things of the future. None of us know. Personally I'm happy to back the manager's judgement as long as we also get a few experienced players to add a bit of grit to the mix.

                              Don't want Carroll, paperweight
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
