I do like the idea of every single player rumoured in the press listed and added daily to the first post in the thread so we can all look back at the start of the season and see how many we got over the line.

I can merge this, but (as said above) best to keep the individual threads, where each player can be discussed in more detail. That's the way we've done it for years now. Can get too confusing discussing multiple players in a single thread.

Not for me I like a deal completed then announced ie Ingram wickham and El codobis Burton all these recent romour's Are just to start bidding off or to let clubs know the players are up to grabs

I thought it might be interesting at the end of the transfer period to see how many players we were associated with and how many actually signed. Maybe a list could be put in the summer rumours thread. I would be happy to go through and make a list if anybody is interested.
