Sandro and Fer being transferred out (potentially) would recoup a large chunk of that.

No mate and I think we will have a decent kitty just we need 9/10 players. If we average 2 mill a player then 20 mill would be a serious amount.

In the third part of Clive's interviews with LF he is quoted as saying

"The actual situation is we don’t have the money to spend any more, this is where we are as a club. This is what we have to do, not what we want to do. I’d prefer to have £6m and £8m to go out and spend on players".

I would suggest that in that statement Les kind of confirms we don't have millions to spend?

I think we will spend more than people think. 10-15 mill depending on sales.

If we get to 20 mill I'll be very impressed . I certainly like the players we are being linked with!

Let's be realistic, even if we sell some of the big guns, it sounds like we're still quite hamstrung re transfer budget.

I watched the whole thing and the impression I got was he was hinting we won't be signing players who cost 6,7 or 8 millions pounds individually.

I might of interpreted it wrongly but I definitely think we have a budget just not for players who cost in the 6 or 7 mill range!

I'm hoping and guessing one or two players at the three to five million mark, and three or four at the one to two million mark.
Can't see us challenging without spending like that, and of course it does rely on getting money for the big earners.
I know what Les has said, but every club has to say that, it's in the F.A rule book, and the amount of players we are being linked to daily, could be a sign that he's just going through the 'no money' motions.
