To be fair, the only reason he didn't sign for us was due to work permits. It was apparently a done deal, contract-wise as well as transfer-wise, but work permit rules stopped it, Otherwise he would have been one of the bargains of the decade at 6.5mil. ended up going to the scum for more than triple that 6 months later.
