    Get rid of Washington?

What a massive disappointment this Washington is. A striker's job is to score goals and he simply can't. League One is probably his level. I think we should get rid of him and hunt for some proper strikers in the summer.

Reminds me of Mackie tbh, a lot of huff and puff without any real substance. Way too early to make such statements as "get rid" though , needs a proper run of games to see what he can do. Will hopefully step up next season.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I don't think we've seen the best of him yet, it's our squad as we don't really create them with anything.

Polt can create his own goals, maybe washington needs good assists.

We need to give him time, I'm sure he'll become good and start scoring for fun.

Did you get that the right way round? Wells is worth more than Washington. He can actually score goals in the Championship

Yeah he's got 18 in a side near the bottom. I reckon Denzill and four or five mills would secure the swap up.

A pre season working with Jimmy and Les and he'll be knocking them in for fun next season.

Washington is allot better than Mackie, he has a footballing brain for starters!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Polter is a decent squad striker to have to bring on and start the odd game but if we have any real aspirations to have a play off push next season we need a far better striker (or 2) that's for sure .

Washington will be good. He needs games. Type of striker that relies on his sharpness. Scored in league 1 and v similar standard to this division

i've watched many games this season when we want to, we can play , far to many mediocre performances that cost us goals. to many players just going thru the motions . we shouldn't be losing 4 nil to brighton when we have shown we can match the top teams on our day, players should have a duty to put in their best for the travelling fans and the fact they represent our club , i just don't see it

2.8 million for a striker who only got 10 goals in league one was always a complete con. English leagues vastly inflated.

I agree its a big risk going for lower league strikers non of our strikers had a great pedigree
