Most left peggers are like that but doesn't really bother me as he is a left back

Tall, yes, but not chunky, like the Huth's of this world, which is what I meant, so I was amazed by that throw.

Ahh yea I see what you mean. Yea he's definitely got plenty of benefits, seems very solid defensively but we haven't seen him too far up the pitch yet with crosses etc. Might take time given his recovery but I really look forward to it.

I thought Robinson played very well considering he was pretty much thrust into the starting line up and it being his first game in like a year or whatever it is. He seemed very confident in what he was doing and like others have said, his throw ins are excellent! It'll make games even more exciting when he's playing as every throw in thats in line with their box will be like a corner to us.

Kpekwa (christ what a hard name) seemed out of his depth yeah but it was obvious he was just really nervous, who wouldn't be? But in the same breath it shows that he's committed and just doesn't want to mess up. I think JFH and co can take lots of positives from both players.

thought Robinson was MOM by quite a way. Excellent debut and loved the way he got stuck in. Always the concern after a major injury that players may be hesitant in a tackle, but he certainly wasnt. As others have said, his long throw can come in useful, but he is certainly far more than that. I know its only one game, but im really pleased as LB seems to be a position we have a few mediocre options which makes it difficult as its hard to justify signing a LB when we already have 3/4 at the club. I'm sure once he gets 100% fit we will see the attacking side to his game a bit more.

Perch's injury- no idea how bad, but seemed to walk off OK.

imo Robinson will be huge for us next season.

I personally think he's premier league player in the making. If he stays fit at lb and we can recruit another decent cb to partner hall then I believe we will have a very solid defence next season.

Thought Robinson oozed quality. His reading of the game was fantastic - couple of times he intercepted a pass way before the attacker could get to the ball.

All that is needed is a target man or a natural goal scorer to feed off the long throw, Charlie Austin, Clive Allen etc.
