As it's breakfast mate, although I've only been there once, I thought that Cafe Vakko, 182 Uxbridge Road was pretty decent.

The pie and mash shop mentioned on that thread has shut now. I will also guess the offer at the uxbridge nandos we used to get has ended.

If you're driving, the Embassy Caff near Latimer Road is superb. 316 also goes past and takes you to the Bush. Trying to think where else does a proper greasy nearby, the Ritz Cafe on Kings Street, Hammersmith is also very good, but it's the Ravenscourt Park end.

Cheers Hubble, think we'll probably head over Latimer road then and check out the Embassy, my old dad used to take me to a cafe further up Bloemfontein somewhere but that was 30 years ago !

Is that the old embassy before you get to edward woods estate on the right??? Used to be a proper gaff for a builders breakfast bitd.

The Mar Mar cafe opposite the British Queen on Uxbridge Rd (now called something else, the stop watch or something like that!)
