Still think The Polt will become one hell of a player for us.

I was so impressed by our performance yesterday, not only have we QPR picked up our performance on the pitch but so have the national side.

Yeah go on you bowler hat wearing english on your alcohol fueled rampage after 2 or 3 halves of bitter and you'll attack anything with your brief cases and umberella's taking back your empire after a rare win

Seriously a top drawer performance from so many talented young players there. Dier, Alli, Kane, Rose were all imperious and are gonna give Roy a proper tough time making a decision for his starting 11.

spot on post, funniest thing about all the moaning in the thread prior to the game was that England have clearly been improving, fancied them to do well in Berlin.

Over the years national selectors in all sports have been horribly conservative when it came to picking youngsters, right now English rugby football and cricket sides have gone the other way and are benefitting massively as a result. If they're good enough, they're old enough, end of.

Watched it on tv and the support from the English fans was incredible (even when we were 2-0 down). It sounded like there were more English fans there than German.

Absolutely true and even more vital given the poo opposition in the qualifiers.
1st game against Germany was good and very promising apart from a slightly worrying defence.

QPR have little to play for so I am not too bothered about a weekend off from seeing how they get on in a disappointibg season such as this one.
