    Fullbacks.

Are Kepekawa, Robinson, Perch and Iffy(?) just about what we need? I have seen a Baldock from MK Dons mentioned. Any other suggestions?

    Iffy?

I think we could get by with Perch/Ned/Furlong/Robbo/Kpekawa as our full back options next season.

Don't think Ned offers much going forward but is decent cover for RB. Perch has played better at LB IMO but has done enough to be a starter on either side.

I'd give Furlong a run out in some of the games towards the end of the season. Personally think he is capable at this level.

Haven't seen enough of Robinson or Kpekawa to comment on.

Think you need ball players as full backs nowadays - Ned doesn't fit the ballplayer mold bless him and neither does Perch in some ways!

Like to see Furlong and Robinson

Lobjob, a young fullback released from Coventry or Hemel,Hampstead is playing for our U-21 now. IMO, It will be interesting to see whether or not he will get a chance during preseason.

Agree with this, not sure on Furlong personally.

I think Furlong will never play for us again. We are improving after all.

I seriously am questioning your knowledge of footy Timmy... On this one, the lads 18! and you're saying he will never play for us again.... I mean come on. He performed well for us in a couple of games in the prem! Think about what you are saying surely!!

                    Ha, ha

I've never been so sure about anything in football! He was so lost - literally - and didn't know where he should be. It's mission impossible to teach him that much about positioning. If I'm wrong I'll eat humble pie, of course.

I'm with the doc on furlong as well . Ramsey killed his career.

Giving up on an 18 year old for absolutely no reason at all, is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard of!

You may be right, but Furlong is 20.

OK, 20 sorry - Same rules apply to a 20 year old though in my opinion!

It has to be said, I am not sure on Furs either but to the extremes that Timmy is suggesting as I do think he still has a slight chance in getting involved next season.

The trouble is we haven't seen enough of him in a QPR shirt to judge, of which he has had a mix bag of games. To be fair as a whole he was TOILET in the prem for us, but that wasnt his fault at all.

We dont have a massively good crop of young players, or we certainly havent been properly developing them at the club.
