    Karl Henry

I must admit I have been extremely critical about him for quite some time but yesterday I thought he was absolutely outstanding. Fair play to the man

Always has been fine . Does his job more than sufficiently , gets way too much stick.

For Henry to play his game well is reliant on our attacking players moving the ball forward and playing well. Yesterday it worked Henry broke the game up and gave it to the likes of jnr and co and we looked good.
When those players do sod all then Henry's game is detrimentally effected and because he as said is a whipping boy he gets the blame. Which is unfair.

Exactly, happy for Henry after the abuse he gets.

Henry is a good championship squad player imo. Has his bad days but also his good.

It's a squad game and I hope he's signed up on 1 year contract extension next season.

I'm with you Matty. Luongo is a much better performer with Henry in the side and until we get someone better for his role, he should play. Good athlete, no spring chicken.

We were saying same on Saturday Maids. Wet midweek up north, need someone to dig a few - send for Henry.

I'm not Henry's biggest fan, He's a very limited player but have to give him credit he had a very good game Saturday, at least he gets stuck in, his problem is for every descent game he has he has 6-7 bad one's

His job is to be a spoiler, break up play and give the ball to the more technically gifted players. He is fine at that role. Anybody that expects Henry to be a playmaker and make things happen are naïve. I have a feeling that a lot of the people that dig Henry out do so for this reason and they don't judge him on what his play is all about.

He's average at best. Good game Saturday but too many non-event performances for an experienced midfielder for me.

Ok as back-up next season but that's as far as I would go with him.
