Should've played him v Fulham , red card waiting to happen but at least he would've taken one of them out to set the tempo. If no faurlin Saturday I'd start him.

His contract ends this summer so can't see any sense in this.

I like this, wish we had 11 of him vs Fulham.

I think if it's Henry and Toszer then he is worth a go. If he plays well, offer rolling contact, will certainly be a lower wage!

I heard he's been playing center back some games for the u21s which may explain their results. He is no center back

Only benefit of playing him is to see if he's worth retaining but if decision is already made then no

That decision was made about two years ago I reckon mate. He's long gone and your right, pointless playing him unless it is to get him to earn at least a tenner of his free millions.

Quote from Tony "Today, we still have players from that regime who don’t play. If we take Samba Diakite, for example, he played extremely well in his first season against good teams, scored against Arsenal. If we hadn’t signed him at the end of that season, people would have said we were mad. Who would have thought he’d have the problems he’s had?"

Mass & Ale in CM for me when both fit & available, absolute no brainer.

That said I would like to see Samba given some time on the pitch, if for no more than amusement factor. Bloke is crackers, I love it
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
