The problem of course with a supporters trust running the club (even if it was gifted / nominal sum) is the amount required just to stay where we are.

Which is why some people think that trusts with a board majority can only happen in the lower tiers.

At the other end of the scale the Man U trust whose aim is board representation has something like 250k paid up members, this is a separate entity from he break away club.
