If you look on the website of the original link there is a lot more detail.
Interesting this as it appears to be strategic only, the HA are the ones owning the land yet we have jointly applied for planning.Comment

Na mate, not being funny, seen someone else say similar on lfw. Just don't understand what strategy we are using here against Cargant. Just one question, if we build 600 houses on that bit of land, how would car giant be effected....... Just don't get itnsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐Comment

I dont think they will be affected. Old Oak is a massive area and Car Giant own a proportion of that so I guess QPR and perhaps Genesis have their hands on other parts of the land, as do other separate developers. The plan for the Old Oak area is to have circa 24,000 new homes...the Car Giant site currently has been approved for 7,000 and this one only 600. The Natural History and Science Museum are also planning to open sites here. We could all have a little boozy gettogether prematch while marveling at the wondersl of science.
More details here: (yes I'm a bit geeky and like reading about new developments!) http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1845008Comment

I like the idea of a stadium by the canal - could start up a ferry service on match days. Instead of coaches we could take barges to Watford, MK Dons and Brum (and wherever else the waterway goes).... might even qualify for some sort of green transport rebate and travel for free.Comment
