January is always a difficult time to get quality in but we really do need extra firepower and a ball playing midfielder. Cole coming back hopefully means he gets a run out and injects some energy on the left side of defence but I also can't help but feel slightly underwhelmed

As cheap as the £4million was for losing Austin, there was still money available from the sale to maybe bring in someone else?
At least we called back Kpekwa who should have been given a chance from the start of season.

Doesn't bother me tbh as long as we recruit well in the summer. We won't be paying massive fees anymore so very hard to buy in Jan. 350k for Nasser seems like a bargain and we've offloaded some high earners. We might try bring a striker in on loan when the window opens I would imagine.

He was, and didn't impress. Although to be fair, he wasn't given long.

Those in charge at the time probably saw him as 4th choice behind Konchesky, Suk Young, Robinson (when fit)
