Possibly because when he has played he has been better than Henry or Toszer who get in the tram ahead of him.

Based on what? He's played no more than 4 games including sub apps. If he was any good he'd have been in the team. Besides, this is just a 1 month loan, if anything it's keeping him fit (provided he plays).

Would love him to break in side and do the business but he offers absolutely nothing other then an engine in middle of the park. He's as bad as any of our midfielder but as he's kind of homegrown people are making exceptions and saying he's decent.

If he came from Huddersfield was called Gobern and played the way he did at Forest last week he would be called S hit and get rid but he's regarded as one of our own so people make allowances.

Those saying we should be pushing for promotion but at the same time saying Doherty is the answer better prepare themselves for a long wait in the championship

          Don't agree with that 1%

He has shown in short spells that he's tenacious, can pass and tackle and yes he has an engine.

Lets not forget age is on his side and offers a LOT more than ceratin 'stars' on money I'd presume was in excess of £30,000 a week.

Very good engine mate gets about the pitch but games I have witnessed not seen him break up play or get amongst it. Not great passer either but suppose we all see different things in games

Annoyed at this. When JFH got the job, she said he wanted to bring young players through, and so far there has been no evidence of it (at least Warnock tried out Petrasso). Is there a plan at the moment?

The plan is to stay up, cannot do that with youth players. The youth player thing is long term.

Doughty was never going to get game time for us. It's a good move to get games under his belt. He's 23 now and needs experience.

Agree, I think Doughty is pretty decent tbh.

Good, hope he does well. Better to be starting regularly for the rest of the season than playing a bit part role with us
