At Forest yesterday it was good to see a lot of younger lads all stood at the back behind the goal.
This was like the good old days stood on the terraces.
It's also a good sign that we have fans for the future. There was a load of us oldies there too, if it hadn't been for the singing and banter the game would have seemed a whole lot more demoralizing.
The only down side was fans having a go at each other, which reflects the chaotic state of our club.

Keep coming back lads.

Ed, it was only a day before you posted this that a new fellow QPR fan who start work with me said "How many young QPR fans do you know"?

We don't have many unless they have been forced to support us through our parents, if they had a choice we wouldn't have them as well.

I feel the club need to focus on this, what can we do as a club to promote us to a wider younger audience?

was anyone sat all the way to the left side? there was a fair bit of agro in the 1st half that the stewards had to break up. just judging by the location of all the ruckus, it seems it might've been between our own

That's where I was located. The problems started when certain fans sang were f####ng sh#t and other abuse aimed at players and JFH. A couple of other lads had a pop and were saying get behind the team or go support someone else. The stewards had to intervene and had to a few more times throughout the match. Stewards also unhappy with use on the c-u-n-t word. One lad was ejected and another constantly warned.

I remember back in the day, school groups were let in free, also we could offer training camps for local schools with kits handed out. I know we need to reign in our finances, but would be worth attracting the younguns.

Good to hear about the younger generation coming through - maybe it will start a stand up culture for away days! I hope anyway
